Noise Assessor Course Brisbane

NVMS’s highly-regarded DEMIRS-approved Noise Assessor Course includes all subject areas required by DEMIRS Resources Safety and those recommended by AS/NZS1269.1:2005, “Measurement and assessment of noise emission and exposure” for the training of competent persons. These include Basic Acoustics, Analysis of Sound Waves, Sound Measurement Instrumentation, The Need for Noise Control, Evaluation of Noise, Practical Noise Surveys, Hearing Protection, Noise Reduction, Statutory Requirements and Guidance Literature, and much more.

Course Structure

The Noise Assessor Course is a four-day full-time course from Tuesday to Friday. Progress is assessed by a written test and a noise survey report to be submitted following completion of the course.

Occupational hygienists, OHS advisers and technicians, safety and training coordinators, medics, acoustical consultants, hygiene consultants.

Outcomes

Successful completion of the course and the assessed elements entitles delegates to register as Approved Noise Assessors with DEMIRS Resources Safety, a qualification which is recognized by most OH&S authorities around Australia and beyond.
