
Introduction to Human Vibration
Human Vibration caused by certain work activities is recognized hazard with increasing prominence in Australia.
Hand-Arm Vibration (HAV) and Whole-Body Vibration (WBV) can have significant health effects including vibration white finger and other circulatory dysfunction, loss of touch sensitivity, finger and wrist pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, RSI, back pain, neck pain, spinal degeneration and a range of chronic conditions. Monitoring and managing human vibration is therefore becoming increasingly important.
The 1-day Introduction to Human Vibration (IHV) course provides a practical overview of measurement and assessment of both HAV and WBV – including interpretation of results, instrumentation, legislation and guidance, human factors, and current best practice in Australia.
This is a 1 day online course.
