LDS Vibration Controller Software
Vibration Control Software designed for assisting in the control of both permanent magnet and electrodynamic range of shakers.
Optical interrogators emit an optical spectrum, usually between 1500nm and 1600nm, and can accurately read the wavelength of the light reflected by the Fibre Brag Grating optical sensors. In doing so, they can measure the physical quantity measured by the optical sensors (strain, temperature, acceleration, etc.)
The portfolio of optical interrogators can be split in 3 groups:
QuantumX MXFS is the ultimate optical interrogator. Released in 2019, it integrated the optical FBG technology into the QuantumX product family, allowing users to operate unique time-synchronized hybrid optical / electrical measurement chains. QuantumX MXFS has 8 optical ports. Each port can support up to 16 sensors, leading to a maximum of 128 channels per QuantumX MXFS module. This significantly reduces the cost per channel for large channel counts. QuantumX sampling can reach 2,000 S/s and works with catman like any other QuantumX or SomatXR module. With the same footprint as any other QuantumX module, it can easily be stacked up or mounted onto a rack.
FS22 optical interrogators are the original interrogators for Fibre Bragg Grating optical sensors, first released by FiberSensing. Various variants are available:
FS42PI Portable BraggMETER is a portable optical interrogator to assist with on-site installation or short-term test. With an integrated screen, it can operate 5 hours on battery. It offer 100 nm wavelength measurement range, 1 S/s sampling rate, 4 optical ports for parallel acquisition, and up to 125 sensors per optical connector.
The above optical interrogators are ideal for HBK Fibre Bragg Grating optical sensors but can also interrogate other non-HBK optical sensors.
